HISTORY -

Hunter discovered his powers during a fight at school, in which his first ever duplicate almost killed another student with its super-strength. Hunter got into a lot of trouble with the school, the police and his family after that. Luckily, the judge presiding over the suit against Hunter and his family (for the kid who almost died) said that Hunter could avoid harsh punishment if he were sent to Xavier's Institute. Hunter finished his high school career there, but moved out afterward, legally, and found a room for rent on his own. He never fully agreed with the Institute's views, and felt that his powers should be used for personal gain.

POWERS -

"Twin" power. Hunter is a single person...who can create a single duplicate of himself at a time. Hunter's only other mutation is a quick healing ability - a sort of defense mechanism to protect the original Hunter so he can keep living to create more duplicates. He can heal cuts and scrapes within minutes, and more major injuries with more time up from that.

Hunter's duplicates are physically identical to himself. However, they are far stronger and more powerful than he is. They possess a Class 50 strength level, and a level 3 subsonic speed ability. However, they are normally durable and vulnerable...and do not have the regenerative healing that the original Hunter has.

Another downside of the dupes is that they decay rapidly and die from rapid cellular - and then molecular - breakdown after a twenty-four hour period (their deaths leave only a microscopic bacterial residue). Hunter can only create one duplicate for every twenty-four hours...so if one dies before the twenty-four hour period, Hunter must wait until the next twenty-four hours to make another.
